How much is Fitbit Inspire 2 cost?
The price is around hundred dollars. It’s quite affordable and saves money on gym and much safer to exercise outside in the open and track your activity these days. I bought it on Amazon .com for $97.99(price is less now) in my Amazon Prime Order delivery.
If you’re an athlete or avid runner, then you can go for Fitbit advanced models like Charge 4, retailing at $130 and comes and it comes with fitbit gps tracker so you don’t have to connect to your phone.
Fitbit inspire has a lot of features that make it stand out, but some people may not like the fact that you have to wear it on your wrist if you want all these features. For me, I mostly wear during my walking or exercise activity. But I’ve tested many other inspire2 fitbit features like mindfulness, stress management and heart rate monitoring etc. wearing snuggly on my wrist but no longer than an hour or two.
How to Set Up fitbit Inspire 2
Fitbit inspire is a fitness tracking device with smartwatch features . It allows you to keep yourself updated about your daily activities as well as display notifications from your smartphone.
You can set up Fitbit Inspire 2 using the mobile app that you would have installed on your phone (compatible with both Android and iOS).
- You can download the app on your smartphone or the Fitbit app on your computer.
- Now, click the plus sign at the bottom of the screen and then choose “Set up a new device”.
- You will be prompted to put in some information about yourself such as height, weight etc.
- Then follow the directions on the fitbit inspire 2 app to connect your device with the app.
- Once you have done that, you can start customizing your Fitbit Inspire and adjust it as per your preferences.
So, first of all make sure that you’ve downloaded the Fitbit application and turned the bluetooth on, on your phone. You need to use your four digit code from the phone app to enter in the setup in Fitbit Inspire 2. It takes only 8-10 minutes to set up.
Charge inspire 2 with small USB cable supplied in the package. Plug in the USB charging cable into a computer or power adapter ; press firmly against an Inspire band until it clicks and charge the watch. it stays good for 10 days.
You can read the home screen by turning your wrist or pinching the sensors on the side of the watch. First it shows time display, swipe up and you can see all other notifications eg step walked, heart rate, etc. And you can come back to the home screen by double pressing on the sides sensors.
It comes with an extra wide band if you wish to change or have bigger wrist, then you can change. Or you can buy different color fancy bands, such as pink or white. I chose the black color. To change the bands is very easy. First step is to remove the band. On the back side you can see little shiny steel pins on each side of the watch. You need press down this pin and pull the band apart. And then you can attach the new band.

When I first used inspire 2, the display screen in bright sunlight was very difficult to read. It’ s set to the dim mode out of the box. But you can adjust it to the bright by turning the dim screen off in setting on the band. keeping inspire on your wrist for a longer period is uncomfortable, is not even required.
On the back side the inspire, little green sensors detects everything for you. You can change the home screen watch display by going to your profile on the app dashboard on phone . And you can manage alarm on your fitbit device too.

The battery can last up-to 10 days. So it has longer battery life than the previous similar devices. It’s water proof, so you can keep it on while washing your hands or showering or swimming.

if you’re walking or running you can track how much distance and steps you’ve covered. If you like biking or swimming then you can track how many calories you’ve burned. I like brisk walking by the water and love to cover 10.000 steps whenever possible. it can automatically detect the activity and show the results.

You can earn active minutes through 10 minutes or more of continuous moderate-to-intense activity, whereas Active Zone Minutes are earned for time spent in the fat burn, cardio, or peak heart-rate zones.
According to American Heart Association, one should hit at least 150 Active Zone minutes per week. Fitbit inspire shows active zone minutes for all your activities. And it also shows when you’re in a fat burn zone or cardio zone. I’ve been tacking my walking and other activities. More active zone minutes, more calories you burn. 24/7 heart rate monitor helps you maximize your exercise sessions, see the heart rate zones, track sleep stages and better calorie burn.
You can track your heart rate during the activity eg. low active heart rate and high active heart rate and resting heart rate – when you’re not doing any exercise or while sleeping.
I tested my heart rate during different activities. Normally sitting or praying my heart rate was lower 70-80 bpm range. And as soon as I went on some social media channels, my heart rate shot up 10-15 more points and sometime went above 100 bpm. So you can get the idea how much time you can spend online or when you can get off and manage.
Stress management feature on Fitbit is quite outstanding and it’s fun to use. You can get your stress score after logging your stress level in different periods. When you mark and see how you’re feeling during different hours of the day. You can see your results for different days and weeks. And find out what is going on in your mind and body. Obviously when you checked ‘very stressed’ that means you need to get off of all the gadgets and go in nature or do something else eg drink some water or stretch or walk. Well you can track your physical as well as mental health on this little Fitbit inspire watch. Isn’t this phenomenal?
Fitbit also tracks how well you sleep. And even wakes you up with a silent alarm so no one else is disturbed or bothered by sound in the morning when they are trying to get ready for work or school! Sleep tracking has become one of the major task for many people. if you’re new to fitbit, it’s quite easy to use.

I love the guided videos either for exercising or mindfulness or breathing etc. There are so many guided programs to make you fit and more healthy eg. Get Active, Push Up Prep, Run Training, Beginner Running or Kick Your Sugar Habit, Kick Your Salt habit etc.
You can choose from variety of workout such as Mountain Climb or Tone & Lift Your Butt. I tried and liked Intro To HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). The video guides and motivates you to do the exercise the correct way with small rest intervals.

So the question here is, is fitbit inspire 2 worth it? The answer is definitely yes!
It’s just like a little fitness assistant that inspires and motivates too. If for just merely less than sixty dollars, you can improve your health and optical heart rate, then this is a precious device. The most lovely feature is the confetti and celebrate feature when you complete 10.000 steps in your activity eg. walking, jogging or running. It can show active zone minutes.
There is a chime feature where you can be alerted by the chimes on your phone or wrist.
You will get a notification whenever there’s an incoming call, text message or calendar reminder. (I also love this feature)
Let us not forget what makes it worth buying Fitbit Inspire- 24/Seven heart rate tracking. It automatically tracks general workout for both high and low intensity workouts like walking, running, cycling etc.

Fitbit inspire 2 is one of the best fitness trackers on the market. It has a sleek design and with it you can monitor your heart rate, calories burnt, steps taken and even sleep quality. All that being said, what are some ways you could use this tracker? There are many different things people do with their inspire two fitbit but here are just a couple ideas to get started.
